Anyway maybe this ad is really aimed at the gay male chocolate fan, cause it ain't really cutting the mustard with this lady. Like I said, the guy looks like twerp and I really can't take all this chocolate sensuality from someone who doesn't look like he has much between the ears.
And really, the idea that we are all going to be rendered half witted with lust at the sight of his rippling torso is completely ridiculous. It would be patronising and foolish, even if he were attractive to heterosexual women, but since he looks like some nancy boys fantasy it just falls off the peg enitirely.
The more I look at it, the more I reckon sales of little Aero balls will be standing up well in the gay community, but I don't think they're going to increase their penetration of the heterosexual lady market with ads like this. But, hey maybe that was always their plan, make Aero chocolate balls a gay icon this week, and you can go mass market with it the week after, sort of thing.
