The basic idea is good and it has all the chippy charm which we have come to expect from Scotland’s favourite hangover treatment, but for me it doesn’t quite take off somehow.
I suspect that they were not allowed to show the real sort of serious mayhem that goes on in one of Glasgow’s inner city comps, so it feels a wee bit flat. That being said, I did notice that they ram some kids head into the IRN Brew vending machine, and I wonder how long it will survive, before being taken off air as a result of endless complaints about‘encouraging bad behaviour in schools’ - as if.
Personally I can’t stand IRN Brew, but all the Jocks I know seem to love it and think it is some kind of miracle cure for just about everything. I’ve even heard that some of its more enthusiastic fans believe that it might cure you of being English, though I’m afraid I’m in no hurry to find out if this is true.
