The thing about the witches I've come across is that they don't look like them. I think if they did, I'd feel better disposed towards them. After all, you'd know where you stood if they had pointy hats, were green and had huge beaky conks wouldn't you? But in general they don't look the part, so it can be a terrible shock when you discover that your mate, the cute little blonde munchkin is in fact a fully paid up world class witch.
I quite like the ad, it's quite sweet and well observed and I suppose it makes the point that you can take anyone you like to an Orange Wednesday. But is that such a big deal? I never thought that were restrictions on who you could take anyway. I can't imagine the cinema people turning you away just because your friend was a witch or a troll, but maybe I'm missing something here. Let me know.
