Now they're saying that new Select Pringles come in a bag, just like everyone else. Well, what sort of news is that?
All the people in the advert seem completely excited about having Pringles in a bag. Well I just don't believe it, they're meant to be real people but they're not, they're acting, that's what I think. I mean no one would get that excited by finding Pringles in a bag, I think they'd just be a bit disappointed. Like I said, the thing that's different about Pringles is that they come in a tube and if they now come in a bag like all the rest, then why should anyone get excited about that?
We do product testing at our focus group, as well as adverts, and I can tell you, if they'd come down with a load of Select Pringles in a bag we'd have told them they were getting it all wrong and no mistake. Pringles come in a tube, not in a bag, we'd have told them. Personally, I think they should have put the mini Pringles in a little tube as well, but they certainly shouldn't be putting their special, posh Select Pringles in an ordinary bag. Stands to reason, doesn't it?
