In a winter snow scene inside a globe, white letters fall to form the words 'WH Smith'. The narrator (Michael Parkinson) advises that until Sunday at WH Smith, every one of their top 20 celebrity hardback books is half price, illustrated by 2 bubbles floating above the river, with a hardback book in one and 'half price' in the other. As the book titles change inside one bubble and the other remains at half price, he reels the authors off a list with a description of each, including his own, and he concludes 'and talkative me', as the bubbles burst and the pieces fall from the sky.
