A woodland scene shows a suspended conker being smashed by another. The pieces form the letters 'WH Smith', as the narrator advises that until Sunday at WH Smith every one of their top 20 hardbacks and kids' books is half price, illustrated by 2 bubbles showing a number of books in succession in one of them, and 'Half Price All Top 20 Hardbacks' in the other. He lists the books, and as the last one is seen to be the Guinness Book of World Records, he concludes "That's got to be a record breaking offer, smashing prices", as the bubbles burst and turn into falling autumn leaves.
