A bank customer asks a manager why her savings rate has changed, and is taken over to a scruffy area of the branch where all the disused equipment is chucked into a corner. The manager explains that the savings rate she was given when she joined was introductory, as was the cappuccino, the biscuit and indeed the niceness. The woman walks out of the branch and over the orad to Nationwide, as the narrator advises that they don't offer introductory rates that don't last.
