Ad Story
In a winter lakeside scene at night, icicles fall off an overhanging branch and hit the frozen surface of the lake, shattering and forming into the words 'WH Smith'. The narrator advises that until Sunday at WH Smith, 30 of their biggest books are half price, illustrated by 2 bubbles floating above the lake, with a hardback book in one and 'half price' in the other. As the book titles change and their prices are shown, she describes the types of books offered as half price tio ten kids' books, half price top ten fiction, and half top ten price celebrity hardbacks. Included is Fern's autobiography, which she concludes 'may be half the price, but it is the full story', as the bubbles burst and gift parcels fall from the sky.
